Long Island artist Taz Li is back with a new banger and new video to feed the streets for the summer. After dropping a 5 song project entitled “Trap Mode Vol. 1” with the popular song “Code”, he’s still letting the people know he’s nowhere close to slowing down.
“Who Y’all” the buzzing rappers new song, along with the video directed by John Fitzpatrick (shout out to ButterShopFilms), lets you inside the life of his lowkey turnt but highkey lifestyle that he somehow seems to handle with ease on a daily basis. From juggling the stress of woman, his past trauma, and coming from the bottom of the streets, the music reflects a sense of relief to his fans who can relate to the same journey. Taz Li stands alone on his own two feet as is shown in the beginning and end of the well-directed and produced video.
The video directed by John Fitzpatrick and Buttershopfilms has the “Who Y’all” rapper walking in the front door to what seems to be just a normal house party but as you walk to the back of the house, you clearly see that’s not only the case. If you saw the show Breaking Bad and how the series finale ended you’ll know where I’m going with this. The only difference is, at the end of the video, the rapper gets picked up by a UFO symbolizing he’s clearly not human and he’s just passing through to teach us, humans, a few things. Some have made some comparisons of his voice to NBA Youngboy some have said Nav but all we know for sure is he’s in a lane of his own.
